LA2NY 2021 Tribute Ride with National Fire Velo
Fire Velo, based in Los Angeles, CA is in the planning stages of putting together a Los Angeles to New York Ride for 9/11’s 20th anniversary in the summer of 2021.
In 2021, 10 to 15 firefighters will ride from Los Angeles to New York, arriving for the 20th anniversary memorial of the horrific attacks of September 11th, 2001. We will visit the Flight 93, Pentagon and World Trade Center Memorial sites along the way to honor all who perished that day and since these attacks. This monumental firefighter lead cycling event covers over 3,300 miles in 45 days, reaching out to the entire nation and communities along the way.
Fire Velo’s 2021 Cross Country Cycling event benefits three outstanding foundations who help us complete our mission to give back. These charities are: The San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation (www.sffcpf.org), Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation (www.tunnel2towers.org) and The Fire Family Foundation (www.firefamilyfoundation.org).
